01 / THE WORKOUT

Movement starts with your hands.

Upper body cycles use hand cranks against resistance rather than leg pedals. They add upper-body cardio to a training space, with different rotation modes and user positions.

01

Forward and reverse

The bidirectional drivetrain provides resistance when rotating forwards or backwards.

02

Different rotation modes

Choose synchronous, asynchronous or independent arm rotations using the crank locks.

03

Workout feedback

Both models display workout data. The screen and resistance controls are among the differences between them.

02 / ACCESS & ADJUSTMENT

A training station
that adapts.

The seat flips out of the way and stores on the cycle, making room for standing workouts or wheelchair access to the handles.

Height and crank adjustments help establish the workout position. Before ordering, we review the user, wheelchair, access space and required configuration with you.

for the way you train.

The UBC-P screen brings together workout data and programme selection, including resistance changes specified by the programme. On UBC-M, the user adjusts resistance manually.

Electronic control on the P model refers to resistance. The user supplies the movement.

04 / BEFORE YOU ORDER

05 / YOUR QUESTIONS

Good to know.

Do users need to pedal with their legs?

Movement is generated by turning the hand cranks with the upper body. Seated, standing or wheelchair use depends on the user’s ability and the suitability of the workout position.

Will every wheelchair fit?

Moving the seat allows wheelchair access, but a particular wheelchair needs an individual check for dimensions, user positioning, reach and manoeuvring space. Mention this when you contact Eurotec.

What is the difference between UBC-M and UBC-P?

The main differences are the display, resistance control and power requirements. M has an LCD, manual resistance and self-generated power. P offers a Target Training touchscreen, electronic resistance and programmes, and requires a power connection.

Are the ramps and seat back included?

The accessibility kit is optional. Confirm local availability and whether the ramps, adjustable crank arms and seat back shown in the photographs are included in your order.

How should a cycle be chosen for rehabilitation?

Begin with the treating team’s requirements and an individual suitability assessment. Eurotec can help review the model, dimensions and configuration against those requirements.

Can I order these models?

Both models are listed in the Eurotec catalogue. Availability, lead times, configuration and accessories are checked when you enquire and detailed in your quotation.
