01 / PEOPLE & PLACE
Start with the people and the purpose of the space. Collect the information needed to review the product family and configuration.
Courtyards, play and learning spaces, routes and daily maintenance. Review the equipment and information for each zone.
Bring surfacing, play elements and borders together with substrate design, drainage and circulation routes.
Design the play area as part of the wider experience, considering its location, neighbouring uses and installation constraints.
02 / THE EUROFLEX RANGE
37 families from the EUROFLEX range, with documents beside each family. Mark options for review and collect the site information for a planning discussion with EUROTEC.
A product family, colour or thickness is not an approval of suitability for equipment. Impact surfacing, play elements and borders are reviewed for their purpose and the documents of the exact configuration.

No. Review the family, material, finish and tested system together with the equipment information and substrate. The same thickness in different families can be associated with different test results.
Play, design and border elements have their own purposes and documents. Do not assume they replace a surfacing system tested for the required configuration.
Mark it as unknown in the brief. Complete the value and its source using the equipment documents or designer. The tool does not calculate it from the overall height of the equipment.
They are separate families with different constructions and scopes. Review the applicable family document and do not transfer impact protection or installation results between them.
Elastomeric surfaces can become hot in direct sunlight. The impact protection slab installation guide recommends shading wherever possible. Review shade, drainage and the substrate together with the intended use. Manufacturer installation guide · PDF ↗
